Lack of Motivation

Woo, sometimes i really wonder if i should continue to blog or not. Getting lazier and lazier, to the point that i have no motivation to study. Still motivated to play WoW though, but thats pretty much it. Started a new character in Coilfang (server's name) together with my bro, Wilson, Adam and HengSoon.

I really should be studying now so i wouldnt be here for long. Just want to make a post to let people know that i am still alive xD But most probably i am gonna end up playing WoW anyways. Maybe i can find some time to post something more interesting tomorrow.

Its Been Some Time

I am getting lazier and lazier nowadays to blog. So many other things to keep me occupied, most notably my PSP. And the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 today wont ease up things. Many things had happened since i last posted here, what do you expect, almost a month's gap xD

Lets start off with my best buddy, Wilson who came to KL a few weeks back. He used to be studying in Nilai College but went back to Brunay after his course ended. He'll be going off to UK somewhere early September. So that time was the last time that i was able to meet him before hes going off to UK. It was a memorable one. Especially with Monster Hunter Freedom xD We spent 2 nights at Adam's place. 3 of us (Proud PSP owners) played MHF most of the time. It was really fun especially multi-player. So many funny things happened, and also the longest 1 minute of our lives xD Too bad that was the last time we were gonna meet in a very long time. Damn. Not to mention he was the only guy aside from my brother that I can actually talk almost non-stop to, mostly about games and past times. We have almost exactly the same interests, even they way we think are quite similar. Dont worry, i wont weep for his departure. If i do then it would be kinda gay, as if the stuff i just typed wasnt already xD

Last week, me and my group of usual friends went to Tanjong Sepat, a hometown of ZheTeng (he doesnt use friendster or anything so i cant link him to his profile which would better describe him). Anyways, about the same things that happened in Malacca took place in Sepat. Alcohol drinking, games, food, puke. And once again my redeyes (Subconjuntival Hemorrhage). Have became my trademark, everybody is like "Again ar?" that kind of reaction xD

Classes are starting to get longer hours. Monday my classes are almost the whole day. Speaking of classes, my results came out last week. Not the way i wished it would be. I failed one, passed the other one, audit and tax respectively. I kinda expected that i would fail my audit already, its like only 41 marks, my tax was 53 marks, marginal pass. At least i didnt fail both papers, i am glad. More effort this semester, constant revisions (after conquering Monster Hunter Freedom 2).

Anyways, want to wish Wilson a happy journey to UK and be successful in his endeavors.

And Monster Hunter Freedom 2 :D

There, my right eye. Pretty cool if you ask me :D

Long Story

A lot has happened since I last posted here. I'll start off with when the new semester started. Classes were in havoc. There were too many students now in the each class due to the change of the ACCA syllabus. The so-called compulsory papers are now to be taken first before the optional papers (For more info, please refer to the ACCA Website) causing a huge inflow of students into the class. In addition to that, there are also alot of students from other colleges that joined Sunway. Not that I am blaming them, but they are one of the causes to the overwhelming number of students, at least 500. The management is also partly to be blamed. Not a good start to this semester. Oh, and all my classes start at 8am. Insane.

There are several good movies that came out recently, most notably Transformers.

The computer graphics that are used in the movie are jaw-dropping. The transformation scene is so smooth. Though the storyline can be abit weak. Come on, Megatron got owned by a small box. The ending of the movie made it seem like there will be a sequel, Starscream taking off to outerspace.

Alot has happened in the homebrew world of PSP too. Dark_AleX, the maker of the infamous OE firmwares had stepped down. Caused lots of commotion in the homebrew PSP community. Recently, there has been a few releases of new custom firmwares by other people. The "Custom Firmware Wars". They are trying to fight to replace Dark_AleX. Interesting to see how they are so devoted to go against Sony. Sony makes new firmwares, somebody cracks them.

What you see above is a limited edition PSP with Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII theme. It comes with the Buster Sword keychain. Only 77,777 units are going to be produced. How I wish I could get my hands on one of those. Theres also going to be a new redesign of the PSP. It is thinner and lighter, thus the name PSP Slim. Has longer battery life too.

I just came back from Malacca midnight yesterday. Went with a group of 9 friends. We had almost the whole week off since our lecturers were sent to Shanghai to run some classes there. It was really fun. We stayed in the A'Famosa Resort. We rented a bungalow there for a night. The bungalow has 4 rooms and a swimming pool, kinda good I say. What we did in Malacca was all spontaneously planned xD There were no fixed plans beforehand. We went to eat the famous Chicken Rice Balls. Doesnt differ much from other chicken rice except that the rice is rolled into balls.

That night, we drank alcohol. I still dont know how to enjoy drinking alcohol. I cant drink alot. Puked all over the floor. Havent vomitted for a very long time, a few years maybe. After vomitting, I felt much better. The vomitting had caused me to suffer from Subconjunctival Hemorrhage. Sounds rather serious but it is not. The blood vessel in my eyes popped and my eyes appear to be bleeding. Its like a bruise just that its in the eye. Its gonna recover in a few days, maybe, or a week. I will post up a picture when I have the chance. Its kinda cool, in a way. Besides the vomitting, the games that we play and we drink if we lose, its kinda fun.

The next day everybody was like so worn out xD We didnt do nothing much except eat (Longkang Noodles, Ayam Percik, Satay Celuk) and walk the Jonker Street. Its alot like a pasar malam. Theres food, theres stuff to buy. That time there was rain on and off. Then just before we left, it poured down heavily. We ran to the car, with newspapers that were given to us by a kind shoplady. The newspapers were kinda useless, but anyways we were soaking wet when we reached the car. The girls had an umbrella, so they should be drier, but still wet. Not long after we left that area the rain starts to slow down LOL. We should have waited xD

Heng Soon, an old friend of mine was here. I couldnt meet up with him earlier because of the Malacca Trip, but I managed to meet up with him yesterday morning before his flight back to Brunay at 3pm. We didnt do nothing much, just talked and went to the arcades, walking around aimlessly in Sunway Pyramid xD I woke up late so he had to wait for awhile, I apologise for that.

Pearl of the Orient

Yes, another long time gap between my posts. This time however, there are good reasons:

  • This time around, I took my exams in Penang. Yes, I can take my exams almost everywhere I want to as long as there is an authorised exam centre there. It wasnt my idea at first, it was one of my friends. And also, according to Mr.Goh, one of his students told him that the exam centre in Penang gets a 15mins reading time before the exam starts and the 15mins are actually quite crucial to my Audit paper since the questions are always kinda long, BUT we didnt get it. There were 2-3mins given however but it didnt really made much difference. So what the heck. At least I really get to do some serious revisions.
  • Since I came back to Penang a week before the exam, along with some of my friends (Jack, Kean Leong and Jason) we stayed over at my uncle's place since that place was vacant for that time being. There werent any entertainment there, only local TV channels. Kean Leong did bring his laptop, and yay, we could surf the net too thanks to my Maxis modem (yea right, Maxis kinda sucks big time at my uncle's place, unstable all the times, not like it is not now). Of course, there was my PSP too. Most of the times I used it to listen to some songs and pick up a few rounds of tennis in between revision times to ease stress (as if I really gotten stressed up).
  • Laziness even after my exams ended, which was like a week and a half ago.

So there you go, 3 reasons why I havent updated my blog :D

Taking exams in Penang also mean I could not play WoW too. It has been 3 weeks since I have last played WoW and now my account has expired which I could not reload until I get to some cyber cafes in Penang which sells them. I seldom go out anyways, most of the times I stayed at home unless my mom needs my help for some other stuff like grocery shopping.

Being back in Penang also mean I get to play my PS2. Yay. Right. I only finished God of War; cant play God of War 2 because my PS2 still uses the old fashioned way to play copy DVDs. Crap. God of War was so fun, although there are some puzzles that made me quite frustrated, not because I cant solve it, but because I keep doing stupid mistakes while solving them.

I tried playing FFXII too, but, somehow I have forgotten most of the stuff. When I first tried it, I have to think about the skills and equipments and stuff. The only thing I remember most was farming for more loot, which means more money and ultimately l33t3R equips. Now I am trying to download FFVII to be played on my PSP. Feel like playing some old classic RPG game which could eat up most of my free time. I downloaded Prince of Persia Revelations just yesterday and find it exactly the same as PoP Warrior's Within which I have played before but didnt quite finish. Should have downloaded the other one. Crap.

I have watched the French Open, which Rafael Nadal had beaten Roger Federer. I just finished watching the Artois Championships awhile ago, which Andy Roddick beaten Nicolas Mahut. Mahut is a great player too, but he made a little mistake which made him lose his match point. He beat Roddick in the first set, and almost in the second set. Wimbledon in 2 weeks time, yay. Kinda regretted that I didnt take my tennis lessons seriously in my secondary years. Just realised how fun it could be recently. Tennis > Badminton :D

Notice there are no pictures and the stuff I meantioned are not really in detailed. Thats because I am sleepy and about to go off to bed, trying to end this quickly.

Good Night. There.

Untitled

Its about time i update my blog. It has been dont know how many days since I last posted here, you do the math. Again, much has happened in the past 2 weeks, my Exam Driven Course (EDC) and World of Warcraft being the main events. Some other stuff had happened but its best not to mention here.

My Paper 3.1 Audit and Assurance Services EDC classes had just ended today at 4.30pm. The next stretch starts on the 25th. My hand is still sore from the non-stop writing, experienced it before too last semester, will never get used to it. Or maybe its just the way I hold my pen, because i hold it differently from most people. I hold it as if I am holding a chinese caligraphy brush (or whatever you call it). Anyways, my lecturer, Mr.Goh dictates and we copy down whatever he says. He doesnt have a constant pace, sometimes he is quick, sometimes he is kinda slow. When he dictates fast, it is really fast. Cant keep up with it sometimes. Mr. Goh does have minor pronounciation problems. For example, "conflicts" sounds like "cornflakes", "chances" sounds like "changes", "reveal" sounds like "review" and other stuff. Well, maybe not a minor problem. But I really do respect him. He has a family to take care of, his accounting firm and his students. No idea how he manages to do all that, not to mention speaking non-stop during classes.

I am now a Lvl 37 Troll Hunter in World of Warcraft now, yay. The last game, as far as i remember that got me so addicted to it was Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Seriously, that game easily took 100hrs off my life, but WoW, I think I have already spent more than that.

The gameplay of WoW is simply amazing. The quests are actually rewarding and worth doing them. For example, your reward will be a l33t piece of equipment and a substantial amount of exp. Unlike games like 9Dragons, you get rewarded with cheap stuff and puny exp. I would rather grind than doing those kind of quests. The PvP system rocks too, like most other online games, WoW has PvP servers too. I am in one. You can walk around and PK (Player Kill) just about any opponents you see from the opposing force. For instance, if you're from the Horde, you attack the Alliance. The element of surprise in PvP servers actually keeps you alert all the times, to watch for possible attackers and react to them as quickly as possible. People from the Horde cant communicate with the Alliance anyways, whatever you type will show up as gibberish for the other player from the other side.

All the talk about concentrating on studies, it never really happened. Well, this time, starting tomorrow I shall start revising seriously, hope it really does come true this time. I am already starting to get the fear of failing the exams (I really did fail before, so yea, the feeling is worse). I am sure that fear will push me to revise. For your information, my exams will be commencing on the 5th and ending on the 6th, which means i have about approximately 2 more weeks to prepare for it.

The other day, Kean Leong introduced us to some road side Beef Noodles stall. As most people know, i dont eat beef because my mom is allergic to it, so my family dont consume beef. To me, beef tastes weird to begin with. Mutton is alot worse, the instant it lands on my tongue, I would feel like puking, seriously. Anyways, the shop the KL brought us to, the beef noodles is really good. The beef doesnt taste like beef at all. Its good. Mmm.

One more other thing that I would hate to put it into my mouth is Wasabi. I can even smell it from a mile away. Well, maybe thats too exaggerating, but yea the point is still there, I hate wasabi. Come on, it tastes like plastic and smells like well, burnt plastic. Nothing beats Penang Curry Mee.

I just notice that my blog didnt even have a single picture of me in it. There are a number of reasons to that:

  • I do not have a camera.
  • I do not have a camera phone.
  • I do not have a webcam.
  • My room mate does have a camera phone but I feel stupid borrowing it just to snap a photo of myself to be included in my blog.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft (WoW for short) has indeed live up to its name of the greatest MMORPG ever created. I have plaeyd the 10-days trial for WoW, which anybody can get from here, but its a pain in the ass to download the whole game (a whooping 3.16gb). The trial version is only for WoW classic, meaning not for the latest expansion, The Burning Crusade. Because I love the game, i already bought the game :D 2 copies, one for my bro too. Even if its pay to play, i think its worth it. The game is simply remarkable. After trying the trial, you'll know its greatness. You can even customise the look of your WoW interface with additional addons to suit your gaming style.

The last 3 days were my 3.2 Advanced Taxation EDC (Exam Focus Class). Not really hell, but it was really long. The last 2 days was from 8.30am - 6.30pm (supposedly). We ended the last day at 4.30pm xD Its not really the last day, its just the last day of that stretch. The next class is on the 18th, which means i have about 11 days off. I'll have to allocate time for WoW and studies. Cant really concentrate much with WoW. Always happens just before my exams. Last semester, it was Rappelz. Now its WoW. But yeah, this time i am sure i'll be able to study as this semester's papers are alot tougher than my previous ones.

Spiderman 3. I watched it last Thursday. Looked forward to it but it was kinda disappointing.. I am sure those who have watched would have agreed with me. Look at Venom, he appeared only near the ending, and died shortly after. Even Sandman got more appearances than him. Venom is more like a "keh leh feh" (Cantonese: Insignificant character/role) in this movie. Not only that, Peter Parker looked like gay when he was under the effects of the alien thing. He danced around on the road and pointed at people like an idiot. LOL. The only thing that was nice about the movie was the battle scenes. Oh, and Goblin Jr. too. He is way cooler than his dad. Ninja/Samurai style with a flying skateboard (the modified Glider).

Lastly, i would like to wish Jason Liew a Happy Birthday once again :D Happy Birthday!

PS: Ack, lazy to post pictures, my hands itching for WoW xD

April 26

Yay, another year, another birthday has passed. I don't see anything special about birthdays and why people want to celebrate it. Its the day you're born, so what, its still another day with 24 hours LOL. I remember celebrating it when i was at a younger. Since i entered secondary school, i stopped celebrating. All i did was have a simple dinner with my family, thats it. And i dont ask for presents. I dont encourage people to get me one anyways xD Yea i am anti-birthday, so what, any problems with that!? >:O

Enough about my birthday :P Wait, that reminds me, i have the best birthday present ever from my lecturer Mr.Goh, my audit exam LOL It was a difficult paper, i had no idea what to write, or what i was writing. Today's supposed to be a public holiday, thats the special thing about my classes in Sunway, we usually have classes on weekends and public holidays. Wooo~ its so exciting just thinking about it. Not. Anyways my last paper for my mock exam tomorrow. I am seriously gonna fail both papers, didnt even revise this time around although its the mock exam, its supposed to reflect what you'll get in the actual exams but i learnt that thats always not the case. For me at least. So i always give the least emphasis on progress tests and mock exams. Another way of putting it is i am just plain lazy.

I finished Nod's campaign in C&C3. Took me 2 to 3 days, not all-day gaming though. If i have done that i could have finished it in a day :P Still halfway through GDI's campaign. Haven't played since 2 days ago. No, not due to exams, but my PSP.

My bro has gotten me into playing a PSP game called Monster Hunter Freedom. Its a great game on PSP, great for wasting time xD Its like an RPG-Action game but you dont level up, only your hunter ranks go up but i am not sure what it does yet, probably unlocking new equips and stuff. You get to craft your own weapon from the drops that you've collected. Thats the cool part about it. You get to craft your armor too.

From http://www.worldofwarcraft.com, you can get a 10 days free trial to play WoW. I am gonna test it, am downloading the game client right now even as i type this. Its now at 8% of 3.16gb. Have always wanted to test the game, might probably even pay-to-play. But i dont think i have the time for it. Exams are getting close. Starting from next week i have to at least do some revisions everyday, i think its actually achievable by me, or maybe not. I'll probably end up playing PSP or some other games or WoW. I have neither the willpower to study nor the motivation. Effect of the absence of parental control.

The following is the funniest thing i have seen on YouTube. Its some Mario level thing. Its is damn hilarious xD Thanks Xue Rui for introducing it :P There are 3 parts to the video, each spanning about 8 minutes.

Palm Reading

Anybody believes in palm reading? I just had one yesterday during lunch with the Tug-of-War team yesterday, not the whole team though, only half the team was there. It was at One Utama's Chilli's. We won rm20 Chilli's voucher from that event, that explains why we were there in the first place. Anyways, the Andy dude i mentioned in one of the previous posts know how to read palms. Mine was err, kind of accurate. Anyways he said the the lines of the palm will change over time so what is seen today may not be actually applicable in the future.

Darn, so lazy to blog now. Wanted to post some pictures on the movies i had watched recently, like Sunshine and Wild Hogs, both are only decent movies, not highly recommended. Sunshine had a stupid ending and Wild Hogs is kinda lame, it does have some hilarous moments.

One day last week, i had some difficulty sleeping. Its not that i could not sleep or anything, but the moment i closed my eyes, there was this incredible pressure that falls upon me, its like i can feel the nightmare before it happens. Ack, dont know how to explain this sort of feeling, you have to feel it to be afraid. I was really sleepy that time, the instant i close my eyes, i should have been asleep but no, thanks to the weird feeling that i have. It happened to me a few times in the past. I have to force myself to move my hands so i could wake up, but it was a difficult task. Gives me the creeps when i think about it. As mentioned before, you have to experience it to know how it feels.

Anyways back to gaming, been playing Command & Conquer 3. Its a really good game, brings back memories of the first Command & Conquer game (Command & Conquer 95 xD). Words like "new construction options" sounded so cool xD I prefer this to Generals. No idea why i dont like Generals, probably because i like GDI and NOD better LOL.

I am also playing 9Dragons, i am doing some AFK training now in 9Dragons even as i type this :3 There is a new server set up recently called Asura, its a PK (Player Killing) server where more areas have become PK zones. Its more realistic in a way. Gets annoying too if someone just comes and whack you when you are half way training or something.

The upcoming episode of Heroes is on 23rd April, next monday. I have not been watching any TV shows lately ever since i got my Maxis Wireless Broadband (which kinda sucks now due to increased numbers of users) and i connect to the DC hub on my local hostel network, no idea why. Prison Break, One Tree Hill, Smallville and some others.

9Dragons

I noticed i have mentioned a few times how cool 9Dragons (an MMORPG) is but did not really post any screenshots or anything to complement it. Now i will post some screenshots of my own character (not trying to boast on my character or anything here, my bro has a character that is at a higher level than i am) in a few of the main towns and some scenery screens. I do not care about how gay looking my character is, the stuff i am wearing now actually gives me some bonuses. And, so what if i have used my own name for my character, the game is based on the Chinese Martial Arts world, and i am Chinese, so naturally my name fits into the game well.

There are the Black Clans (Heavenly Demon, Brotherhood of Thieves, Sacred Flower) and the White Clans (Wutang, Shaolin, League of Beggars). Sacred Flower is an all females only clan and Shaolin is an all males only clan. Sacred Flower being one of the Black Clans generally means that all females are evil xD Nah, just joking.

Datong

Shi Zhang

Mount Yanmo (home to the Heavenly Demon clan)

Hefei (General Marketplace)

I am supposed to put some captions on certain screenshot but i ended up being lazier than expected. So just enjoy the screenshots LOL. In case i have suddenly wanted to post some captions, i would direct my dear readers back here again. This is like my largest post ever, filesize wise. Took quite some time uploading the screenshots.

I have already bought Command and Conquer 3, but i do not have the hard disk space to install it, damn. I am supposed to get a new hard disk this weekend when i go to my bro's place after he has gotten his PSP, but unfortunately he has not got it yet due to some new firmware problems. Yes, my bro is getting a PSP soon :D So i am probably going to Sunway Pyramid tomorrow and ask around for the prices, if it sounds reasonable then i will get one. Possibly getting a new haircut too tomorrow. There is no electricity anyways from 10.30am to 5pm tomorrow. I will rot if i dont go out.

Tug-of-War

Yesterday, there was an ACCA sports day, a sports event organised by the Sunway ACCA Club members for all the other Sunway ACCA students. My friends joined the basketball event. I went to spectate the games at around 10am. Too bad they did not win though. They were champions before. The basketball event was dragged all the way to around 3-4pm. It delayed the Tug-of-War which was supposedly held at around 1pm and after all the other events. It ended up starting at around 2.30pm. Our team (Edmond being the leader) had won :D Of course there were other factors that led to our victory. We had the strongest guy (i think) in our team, his name is Andy, my friends and I call him "dai chek lou" for his big size xD He was the key to our victory. Many people got leg cramps during the Tug-of-War. In our final match, we kind of won after the first round (best out of 3) when 2 of our opponents got leg cramps, one of which had a serious one and is on the verge of fainting. Then St.John's (or however you spelt it) came along. Andy came to assist, in fact he did most of the stuff. He even carried that guy to the bench. A nice guy indeed.

Theres also this girl in my team that owns a PSP. And she happens to be my classmate too. And the Andy guy above also owns a PSP. It'll be very cool if we can play multiplayer games together :P

For the past week i have been on a Hana Yori Dango (a J-drama) marathon. I did free up some time so that i could study, but it was short-lived LOL Its a romance comedy kind of thing. Speaking of the progress tests, i did not really go well LOL It was expected as i did not spend as much time studying as watching Hana Yori Dango. Also, one of the songs for Hana Yori Dango, is by Utada Hikaru, Flavor of Life, very nice song.

What i really want now is a new external hard disk, Command & Conquer 3 and Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles. Thanks to all the PSP games that i have downloaded, i am running quite low on hard disk space right now. At least i have more PSP games now to play xD Come to think of it, i have not even finished a single PSP game that i have LOL.

Check out this cool flash movie, its a Star Wars spoof and its funny xD

The Drawer

Two days ago, i thought i had lost my bank draft. It mysteriously disappeared. The last i remembered was i left it in the drawer. I was positive that it was either in the drawer or on my desk because i would not have carelessly left something so important somewhere i could not find. i searched everywhere, drawer, under the table, desk, cupboard, under my mattress, everywhere LOL. In the end it ended up at the least expected place, under the drawer. Got so annoyed and took out the drawer to check again, then it was there, along with other junks i though were lost forever, one of them is my moral studies certificate LOL. Probably because my drawer was overflowing with junk. Anyways glad i found it. Stupid drawer.

Progess Test is up tomorrow and friday. Still have not revised properly. My laziness says it all. The longer i am in ACCA, the less i am afraid of tests. Well, i am still afraid of the actual exams, just not the tests and mock exams. I know its to test our knowledge of what we have learnt so far and its application. But the motivation to study just isnt there. Compared to last time, we have only one progress test, now that made it two. And the first one just have to be on the week before results are released. I think its a complete waste of time for the first progress test. Who the hell want to revise when the results are so close. Its just my opinion anyway. Why do we have to study and revise?

Back to PSP stuff. I downloaded Lego Star Wars II The Original Triology and Star Wars Battle Front 2. Lego Star Wars is cute and fun to play. Its funny too. BattleFront2 is similar to the console and PC versions. I played it on PS2 a few times, and on the PC too. The controls for PSP is not very hard to master for BattleFront2, once you get used to it, it should do fine. However, there is a lack of a story-based campaign and online multiplayer. Oh and another thing about Lego Star Wars, it has very smooth graphics, probably because they are only Lego bricks LOL.

I had also downloaded Initial D Street Stage. Its in Japanese but the menu is easy to figure out. Just cannot understand the story. The gameplay is exactly the same as the arcade version. Damn hard to play. Compared to Ridge Racer 2, RR2 was a piece of cake. The cars i used were Subaru Impreza and Mazda RX-8, obviously my favourite cars. My bro prefers RX-7 to RX-8, of course performance wise, RX-7 should be better. He keeps calling me a noob for liking RX-8 xD
There are a few cool games coming up very soon, besides the Final Fantasy ones i mentioned in the previous post:
  1. God of War (October 2007)
  2. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (November 2007)
  3. Dungeon & Dragons: Tactics (May 29)

In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, seems like we'll be playing as a secret apprentice of Darth Vadar, in the era between Episode III and IV and your job is to hunt down the remaining Jedis and Force sensitive ones. Its available on other platforms too, like PS2 and Nintendo DS, sadly not on the PC. Not much screenshots on them yet, there are some on D&D:Tactics but lazy to upload xD

There is also an expansion coming up for Elders Scrolls IV called the Shivering Isles, and its already released. If it is going to take another 100hours of gameplay, i am definitely getting it :D

Graphics of Elder Scrolls IV as sexy as ever.

Jade Empire, another cool game. It was released in XBox a few years back. Now its on the PC with improved graphics and stuff. My bro bought it and finished the game in around 20hours, in my opinion, quite a short game.

And how is my blog's wallpaper? :D I know it has made the words difficult to read. But that is exactly what i wanted, to make people's life not as easy LOL.

WooOOooo~

WOOOOOOOO~ Its been a long time since i last posted here (this sentence sounds familiar but what the heck). Contributing factors are me being lazy (duh, as always), a last-minute-crazy-project-that-cause-me-stress (like I ever get stressed up except during exams xD) and my beloved PSP :3 Yea, i bought a PSP a few weeks back during Chinese New Year, with my angpow cash :D Yea i know its kinda late now for a PSP when PS3 just got released but i dont care, i am going to get both anyways, wait till the PS3s can be modded to play "ehem" games *whistles*.

Check out the cool graphics of Crisis Core: FFVII

Now my PSP has found its true purpose. I intended to get a Sony Ericsson K618, didnt know how the PSP idea come to me, and i happy to get a PSP :3 Think my bro is going to get a PSP too, hes still unconfirmed. But i hope he does, then we can play Ridge Racers 2 or any other multiplayer games together :D Just so fun to be able to race with my bro :3

As of late, i lost (not completely) interests in playing PC games. Its weird, i grew up with the games. Now i have my computer everyday, maybe its lack of disk space that i dont install games, or probably due to studies (yea right). Super Nintendo, PC, PS, PS2, PSP, Fat Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, so many systems i have played on. Its just probably temporary. My gaming self is probably hibernating or something.

PC games that i currently have with me now are Dark Messiah, Gothic 3, Neverwinter Nights 2, Need For Speed: Carbon, Elders Scrolls IV Oblivion. I only finished Carbon and Oblivion, Carbon was quite short, whereas i spent 100+ hours on Oblivion. See how crazy i am before xD Neverwinter Nights 2, hmm, its a good game, but for some reason i cant seem to play non-stop, unlike Oblivion, probably lack of the open-ended element. But dont get me wrong, NWN2 is a great game. Theres one feature that i wished Obsidian Entertainment has implemented as they did with Knights of the Old Republic series, the press "x" and sabers swinging thing. I have to say, i like KotOR series more than NWN series, not just because of the "x" thing but because its Star Wars. I had also dropped 9dragons. Dont be mistaken again, its a highly recommended free MMORPG. Like i said before, my sudden drop in interests in PC games caused that. I'll probably be playing it in the future. Then again, i think i am going to spend more time with my PSP :3

I still hasnt forgotten my PS2, just that i dont have a TV over here so i cant play. I miss her T_T How i wish i can play right now, so much joy has she brought to my life. To able to play Final Fantasy games and Kingdom Hearts series, its amazing. Come to think of it, i have not even completed FFXII yet xD The KH sequel and future FF games will be release on the new gaming console, PS3. Like i said before, i'll be getting one soon. Another cool PC game will be coming real soon. I have played its previous releases, in fact almost all of it. From Command & Conquer 95 to forgot what its called xD I dont really like C&C: Generals though. Last time when i was young i used to like strategy games alot. Nowadays i prefer RPGs.

Command & Conquer 3, hitting the shelves world wide on 28th of March 2007, which is next week :D

My life has not really changed much since my last post, except that i have a project to complete. I am supposed to pass up today, need to finalise with my mentor (Mr.Goh) first. Hes having a meeting until around 1.30pm. So i am making this post to fill up the time. Theres always my PSP but i figured its been too long since i posted here :P

There was a presentation of my project 3 days ago. I have to say, i suck at giving presentations. I forgot most of the additional points that i wanted to add in to make my presentation more interesting. Another reason for the suckiness is probably due to my anti-social behaviour. Mr.Dinesh (my paper 2.1 lecturer) commented that i should keep my hand of my tie and use more hand gestures xD

Oh and i passed all my exams last round :D Though the marks were abit below my expectations. I could have done alot better if i were disciplined enough to drag my ass to my chair and revise constantly. Wait, my ass is on my chair most of the times, just that my computer is on the desk so i cant study o_O Anyways, this round i am determined to pass both my papers too, although i havent started on revising anything yet.

I have been watching alot of movies lately too because Jason's girlfriend left for Australia for further studies and hes bored at home. Nowadays, technology has made movies so realistic and its amazing. The latest movie i have watched, 300, is very very cool. Its about 300 hundred Spartan warriors fighting dont know how many thousands of Persian soldiers. The combat scenes are so cool, heads fly, swords and shields clash, mountain of dead bodies and even elephants falling off a cliff. The graphics are spectacular. There are other promising movies coming up soon like Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, Pirates of Carribean 3, Harry Potter and the something somethin, etc.

Anyways i'll end here. This post is getting too long xD Need to get ready to see Mr.Goh and end this project once and for all.

Yet Another Week

All the talk about changing my blog's background and nothing has been done about it. One word: Laziness. Probably wont be doing any changed for awhile. It has also been a week since i last posted. Been busy with classes and homework and tests and stuff (yeah right, as if anyone would believe that xD).

Alot has happened last week, Li-Yin's birthday, Shogun and f***ing Ghost Cinderella at One Utama, arrival of my Maxis Wireless Broadband and stuff.

01/02/2007
For Li-Yin's birthday, we went to an Italian restaurant called Italiannies (i think thats the spelling, i forgot >>;) at One Utama. We ate pasta and pizza, duh. One thing i dont like about there is the cheese, gay powedered cheese, a sniff of it can make me feel like dying @_@ The only cheese i eat are the cheese slices thing and the cheese on pizza, m-something-la cheese. Other than that, the food was pretty good. The funny part was the last part when we're bout to leave, when the bill came. As future accountants, some of the girls (whom i shall not name) actually calculated how much each person has to pay, how gay is that xD The calculation took about 45mins.

Shogun and Ghost Cinderella
Shogun is a Japanese eat-all-you-can restaurant. Went with Li-Yin. Lots of people there. Even have a number queue system like those you can see in banks. Systematic. Food there was great. Too bad i cant eat alot, i suck at buffets. I ate too many other stupid stuff instead of my favourite one. Tempura for the win :D No idea why i cant eat lots in buffets. Looking at my body size, it totally contradicts that =/ They serve this oyster thing with cheese at the start, each person only get one of those. As written above, i despise cheese (not all cheese, but yeah). And another thing i dont like is, omg, wasabi. Spells like plastic + dont know what thing, tastes even weirder o_o Just cant stand the smell. And Li-Yin likes it, and its placed right in front of me D: Again, towards the end, it was funny. We took 5 types of ice-creams and mix it, green tea ice-cream was the dominant flavour (btw, i dont come up with ideas like this, only someone else does). Felt damn full, never did when i am here in KL, that was the 1st time. Only when i go back to Penang xD

After that we went and watch the Ghost Cinderella, its the free ticket that Li-Yin got from Golden Screen Cinemas for her birthday month. No other shows to watch. Horror shows are at the bottom of my movie list xD But anyways, yea, like most of other horrow movies, its scary, but theres no ending >>; Until now i still dont get why the show is called Ghost Cinderella. And also, like any other girls watching horror movies, *ahem* better not say it xD Like that only cute mer xD I do get freaked out at times. Not like i am afraid of the dark or anything, I just f***ing hate it. Cant even see a thing. Reminds me of my experience in the "Dark Lift" (refer to my earlier posts).

Arrival of Maxis Wireless
This owns, 2 days ago i finally got a broadband connection of my own. I can finally play online games and use bittorent properly T_T For a wireless broadband, its actually very stable. I do get disconnections at times.

The online i game i am currently playing now is called the 9dragons (http://9dragons.acclaim.com). Its about Chinese martial arts stuff. Its a very cool game and yet another recommendation from me. You have to actually use the skills to level them up. About the previous online game i mentioned, Rappelz, i have stopped playing it due to stupid problem with the launcher, i was unable to update the game for 2 weeks, and i am fed up with it, so ended up with 9dragons which i think is way better. 9dragons loads very fast for its sexy graphics at high settings, unlike Rappelz, which takes forever to load at high settings. Not to say that Rappelz suck, its actually a good game, if there wasnt the stupid cannot update problem, i might still be playing it.

Anyways thats the end of it, going to leave for ss15 soon. F**ker Wilson overslept thats why have to wait for him @_@ Anyways, congratulations to Wilson who will be going to UK soon somewhere in September :D And also to Tan and Niroajan who will be leaving for Australia soon, good luck to them.

Note: There are no pictures this post, so what, i am lazy >:O

Another Week

Ah, another week has gone by. Time passes by quickly without really realising it. Time passes when you have fun. Time passes when you're doing something you enjoy. Time passes when you're having fun doing something. Time passes when you're enjoying doing something fun.

As usual, been feeling very lazy blog lately. Nothing much have been happening lately, except that i watched a few movies. Death Note 2, Blood Diamond and also Night In The Museum but that was like a week before last week XD

Death Note 2 is a good movie, though they have changed the way how its supposed to end. This always happens to anime->movie, novels->movie so its not much of a surprise. Those who have actually read the Death Note manga will be able to guess how its going to end. The movie is about some guy who found this note book that whenever a person's name is written inside it, that person will die. Theres a few rules for using the Death Note (for further info on the rules, read the manga XD). Then the owner of the Death Note thinks that he'll be the God of the new world, a world free of crimes. But, another smart dude appeared and wanna go catch him. And blah blah~..~..~..~ XD

Blood Diamond is also a good movie based on some real story. It tells how diamonds actually got from Africa to the rest of the worlds and some African government vs rebels thing.

Definition of Blood Diamond: "A blood diamond (also called a conflict diamond or a war diamond) is a diamond mined in a war zone and sold, usually clandestinely, in order to finance an insurgent or invading army's war efforts."

Lots of gunfire. Everytime theres a loud gunfire, or a surprise attack, the girl sitting to the left of me (a.k.a Liyin) jumps XD HAHAHAHA~ :P

Here's some interesting links that Adam, a friend of mine introduced me:

Going to work on my new background real soon. Just found some nice pics :D

New Year

It's been too long since my last post. As you all have known, the Taiwan earthquake had caused quite some trouble to internet users. My hostel connection has been abit shaky since then, so i cant blog. Another reason is because i am using bittorent to download some stuff xD And also laziness.

Now its 2007, yet another new year. Time goes by too fast, its already my 2nd year in Sunway. I kinda miss the old days back in the secondary school, when exams werent so tough XD Dont really have any new year resolutions except that i want to pass all my exams, who doesnt >>; My results are coming out on the 19th of February, so wish me luck :D

I have completed Kingdom Hearts II during my December holidays :D The game rocks. I am still halfway through FFXII, was off the main story for too long XD

Nothing much has been happening recently, except that i went for sauna for the 1st time with my friends, the gayness of the heat @_@ Thinking of giving my blog another new look, the look last time was gone because of the switching the the blogger beta thing. Depends on my mood though, if i feel lazy, then i'll postpone it to dont know when XD

Been playing NeverwinterNights 2 recently, the gameplay is more or less the same as its predecessor, its Dungeon&Dragon rules. It reminds me of Knights of the Old Republic, but its lacking a feature, the button "X" where in KotR2 you get to wave your weapon around XD The character creation thing kind of suck though, lack of cool looking XD

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a really cool Nicklodeon cartoon, i used to think it was some kiddy show. Then Xue Rui burnt the series for me. Its actually really cool. The story is kinda good too.

Even Eyeshield 21, i used to think it sucks because its American football and i dont really like it. But after watching it, its kinda good, not that i am in love with American football now XD

I think thats enough for today. Will post more whenever i feel like it. YA-HA~!
