Pearl of the Orient

Yes, another long time gap between my posts. This time however, there are good reasons:

  • This time around, I took my exams in Penang. Yes, I can take my exams almost everywhere I want to as long as there is an authorised exam centre there. It wasnt my idea at first, it was one of my friends. And also, according to Mr.Goh, one of his students told him that the exam centre in Penang gets a 15mins reading time before the exam starts and the 15mins are actually quite crucial to my Audit paper since the questions are always kinda long, BUT we didnt get it. There were 2-3mins given however but it didnt really made much difference. So what the heck. At least I really get to do some serious revisions.
  • Since I came back to Penang a week before the exam, along with some of my friends (Jack, Kean Leong and Jason) we stayed over at my uncle's place since that place was vacant for that time being. There werent any entertainment there, only local TV channels. Kean Leong did bring his laptop, and yay, we could surf the net too thanks to my Maxis modem (yea right, Maxis kinda sucks big time at my uncle's place, unstable all the times, not like it is not now). Of course, there was my PSP too. Most of the times I used it to listen to some songs and pick up a few rounds of tennis in between revision times to ease stress (as if I really gotten stressed up).
  • Laziness even after my exams ended, which was like a week and a half ago.

So there you go, 3 reasons why I havent updated my blog :D

Taking exams in Penang also mean I could not play WoW too. It has been 3 weeks since I have last played WoW and now my account has expired which I could not reload until I get to some cyber cafes in Penang which sells them. I seldom go out anyways, most of the times I stayed at home unless my mom needs my help for some other stuff like grocery shopping.

Being back in Penang also mean I get to play my PS2. Yay. Right. I only finished God of War; cant play God of War 2 because my PS2 still uses the old fashioned way to play copy DVDs. Crap. God of War was so fun, although there are some puzzles that made me quite frustrated, not because I cant solve it, but because I keep doing stupid mistakes while solving them.

I tried playing FFXII too, but, somehow I have forgotten most of the stuff. When I first tried it, I have to think about the skills and equipments and stuff. The only thing I remember most was farming for more loot, which means more money and ultimately l33t3R equips. Now I am trying to download FFVII to be played on my PSP. Feel like playing some old classic RPG game which could eat up most of my free time. I downloaded Prince of Persia Revelations just yesterday and find it exactly the same as PoP Warrior's Within which I have played before but didnt quite finish. Should have downloaded the other one. Crap.

I have watched the French Open, which Rafael Nadal had beaten Roger Federer. I just finished watching the Artois Championships awhile ago, which Andy Roddick beaten Nicolas Mahut. Mahut is a great player too, but he made a little mistake which made him lose his match point. He beat Roddick in the first set, and almost in the second set. Wimbledon in 2 weeks time, yay. Kinda regretted that I didnt take my tennis lessons seriously in my secondary years. Just realised how fun it could be recently. Tennis > Badminton :D

Notice there are no pictures and the stuff I meantioned are not really in detailed. Thats because I am sleepy and about to go off to bed, trying to end this quickly.

Good Night. There.
